DMC-SDI

DigitalMedia™ Eingangskarte SDI

SDI/HD-SDI Eingangskarte für Bild und Tonübertragung, 1 Stereo Audio Output, 1 SDI Output, 1 HDMI-Output.

The DMC-SDI is an input card for a Crestron® DigitalMedia™ Switcher, providing one SDI input to support high-end professional cameras and other AV sources. The DMC-SDI supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI formats, handling high-definition video signals up to 1080p60 and 2 channels of 24-bit digital audio[1] through a single coaxial cable. An SDI loop-thru output is included for connection to a local monitor or other SDI device.

Additional connections on the card include an HDMI output and a stereo analog audio output. The HDMI output allows the converted SDI signal to be passed through to a local HDMI or DVI[2] device, or to feed a second DM switcher for output expansion purposes. The analog audio output, which features programmable volume control, breaks out a stereo audio signal from the SDI input[1] and passes it through to feed other audio equipment.

The DMC-SDI may also be used with the DMCI DigitalMedia Card Interface to create a very handy problem-solving tool with many useful functions. For instance, it can be used to convert SDI video and audio to HDMI, or to extract an analog audio signal from an SDI signal.

Notes:

  1. Allows selecting any one of the four audio groups on the SDI input stream. Receives only the first 2 channels of the selected group.
  2. HDMI requires an appropriate adapter or interface cable to accommodate a DVI signal. CBL-HD-DVI interface cable available separately.
