The ST-CS is a Cresnet® expansion module that provides power sensing of two individual devices such as televisions, AV receivers, and many other AC powered device. A typical application for current sensing is to provide confirmation of the device's power on/off state. This is often necessary to enable reliable power control for IR controlled devices that do not include discrete power commands in their IR control protocol. The ST-CS may be used to provide a current sensing interface wherever required for loads up to 1000 Watts, and may be rack-mounted using the optional ST-RMK rack mount kit (sold separately). Communication with the control system is via a single Cresnet connection.
