Sonnex™ ist das High End Multiroom System für digitale und analoge Audiosignale ohne Komprimierung. Ausbaubar auf bis zu 72 Räume, durch Verwendung von 1 x SWAMPI-24X8 und 8 x SWAMPIE-8.

Multiroom Expander mit Übertragung bis zu 65 m über ein geschirmtes CAT5 Kabel. Ein CAT5 Eingang empfängt alle 24 Audioquellen und Steuerdaten von der SWAMPI-24X8, 4 Stereo Kanäle 240 Watt an 4 Ohm/ 140 Watt an 8 Ohm je Ausgang. Beliebige Zonen können gebrückt werden, um dann 400 Watt an 8 Ohm zu erhalten.

The SWAMPE-4 is a 4-zone expander for the Sonnex™ Multiroom Audio System (SWAMP-24X8) from Crestron®. It adds 4 stereo amplified zones supporting full room control and source selection, with advanced DSP, speaker profiles, output bussing, mono summing, amplifier bridging and monitoring. The SWAMPE-4 interfaces with the SWAMP-24X8 via a single CAT5e shielded twisted pair (STP) cable up to 200 ft (61 m) in length[1]. Plug-and-play connectivity affords an extremely easy installation, affording full control access to all the SWAMPE-4 functions through the SWAMP-24X8.

While the main SWAMP-24X8 unit resides in the central equipment rack along with all the source devices, the SWAMPE-4 is ideally designed for installation at a remote location near the rooms it serves. This "decentralized" approach minimizes speaker wiring for higher performance and efficiency, and a faster, easier and less expensive installation.

Like the SWAMP-24X8, the SWAMPE-4 delivers a generous 140 Watts into 8 Ohms and 240 Watts into 4 Ohms per each of 8 channels (configured as 4 zones), and is bridgeable for 400 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms. Even with such incredible power, the SWAMPE-4 runs cool and efficiently and requires only three rack spaces for mounting.

Notes:

  1. For connection of the Sonnex Link between the SWAMPE-4 and SWAMP-24X8, use Crestron DM-CBL-8G or high-quality CAT5e shielded twisted-pair cable. The maximum cable length is 200 ft (61 m).
